About The Artist
I didn’t grow up knowing exactly that I would become an artist, but I did grow up being curious.
As a child, I was always trying to learn something new. I loved drawing, painting, and spending my free time creating. Back then, art was simply something that made me happy. It was my favorite hobby, the thing I naturally came back to whenever I had the chance.
When it was time to choose a career, I studied International Business. It felt like the practical path, the one that could offer more stability and a clearer future. And the truth is, I enjoyed it. I built a career in trade, felt comfortable in that world, and followed the path that made sense at the time. Art was still part of me, but life was busy, and I didn’t always have the time to paint as much as I wanted.
Then, in 2022, my life changed completely when I moved to the United States. I had to start over in many ways, learning a new language, adapting to a new country, and rebuilding my life from the beginning. That season made me question a lot of things, including the choices I had made and the kind of life I truly wanted to create.
In 2023, I decided to believe in my talent and begin my journey as an artist. It felt exciting, but also very scary. I had to face my own insecurities, the fear of not being good enough, the habit of comparing myself to other artists, and the challenge of sharing my work with the world. I had always been a reserved person, so opening myself up through social media and showing my art from zero was not easy. In many ways, it is still one of the hardest parts of this journey.
But with time, I began to feel more confident and happy. I realized that I was doing something I truly enjoyed. One of the most meaningful parts of this experience has been seeing people connect with my work. Every kind message, every word of support, and every person who has felt something through my art has encouraged me to keep going.
I consider myself mostly self-taught. I learned some basic art skills in high school, but most of what I know today has come from practice, curiosity, and learning on my own. I don’t have one fixed artistic style yet, and I’m still exploring. Each collection I create is inspired by what I like, what I see, what I feel, and what I am interested in at that moment.
I am still learning, growing, and discovering who I am as an artist. That is one of the things I enjoy the most about this path. It keeps me curious, inspired, and connected to what I love.
Thank you for being here, for supporting my work, and for taking the time to read a little more about me. It truly means a lot to have you as part of this journey.
With love,
Karina
About My Work
A lot of my art comes from the things I love, the memories I carry, and the emotions that stay with me. My work is guided by intuition, curiosity, and a love for exploring different styles and techniques.
Each piece is created with honesty, care, and heart, with the hope that you find something here that feels connected to you.
