About the piece: 

This painting was inspired by hope, especially the kind that is not always easy to hold onto.

Hope does not always feel big or certain. Sometimes it feels close, and other times it can feel far away. To me, hope is not about forcing yourself to feel positive all the time. It is about finding the courage to keep going, even when you are unsure of what comes next. Sometimes, hope is simply that quiet part of you that continues to believe that, little by little, things can change.

I chose an Eastern bluebird for this piece because its soft blue tones felt peaceful, gentle, and calm. I wanted the painting to carry that same sense of lightness, while the touches of green represent growth, resilience, and the possibility of beginning again.

This piece is a reminder that even after the coldest winter, life finds a way to bloom again. Hope may sometimes feel delicate, but there is so much strength in continuing to believe in what can still grow, change, and begin again.
