About the piece:
This painting was inspired by hope, especially the kind that is not always easy to hold onto.
Hope does not always feel big or certain. Sometimes it feels close, and other times it feels far away. It is not about forcing yourself to feel positive all the time, but about finding the courage to keep going, even when things feel uncertain. Sometimes hope is simply that quiet part of you that believes, little by little, things can change.
I chose an Eastern bluebird for this piece because its soft blue tones felt peaceful, gentle, and calm. I wanted the painting to feel light, while adding touches of green to represent growth, resilience, and the possibility of beginning again.
This piece is a reminder that even after the coldest winter, life still finds a way to bloom. Hope may feel delicate, but it is incredibly strong.
